Cobra Golf’s new Baffler iron sets will in stores on Sept. 5. The new sets are the latest generation of Baffler irons leveraging a long heritage and proven Baffler Rail technology, originally invented by Cobra Golf Founder Tom Crow

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Baffler, Cobra says the new Baffler iron set is its “most innovative’’ combo set to date. The company says the all-new Baffler is the first to feature five unique constructions, each designed to deliver the best results from even the most challenging lies.

The Baffler set, is designed to deliver the best performance possible for mid- to high-handicap seniors, women and beginner golfers looking for effortless forgiveness, consistency and easy launch from every distance. Each construction takes inspiration from existing designs in Cobra’s lineup (including previous generation T-Rail, DS-ADAPT, and AIR-X) and blends them together to create a design that works harmoniously in a set. The combo set flows from traditional hybrids, hybrid irons, hollow irons, and cavity back irons, to cavity back wedges.

This configuration, according to Cobra, optimizes gapping through the set and improves versatility and precision in the short irons and wedges for scoring.

The new Baffler combo set features a progressive rail system – with steeper rails in the hybrids and long irons that transition to shallow rails in the short irons and no rails in the wedges – to optimize turf interaction and contact for each club.

Featuring a new design, the Baffler set comes in men’s and women’s options – men’s $799 (steel), $899 (graphite) and women’s $899 (graphite).
