Loews Hotels is expanding its Loews Little Legends programming, with a summer promotion designed to transform everyday hotel moments into hands-on experiences rooted in curiosity, creativity, and connection. Blending science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) into the travel experience, the brand unveils a variety of discovery-driven programming this summer at properties including Loews Miami Beach, Loews Coral Gables and Loews Atlanta Hotel.
Building on the brand’s legacy Loews Loves Families program, this new extension blends experiential programming with tangible touchpoints, introducing new discovery-led experiences for Loews’ littlest guests.
The new brand promotion comes to life through two complementary components: STEAM Explorer Kits and on-property Discovery Days, each designed to encourage exploration and connection at every touchpoint.
Loews Little Legends: STEAM Explorer Kits
Going beyond traditional kids’ amenities, these custom-created exploration kits encourage young travelers to actively engage with their surroundings while reinforcing Loews Hotels as a destination for discovery, connection, and imagination. Each explorer kit includes a curated set of science-forward tools, such as binoculars, a compass, a magnifying glass, and a kaleidoscope, paired with a thoughtfully designed companion activity book. Through simple prompts and interactive challenges, children are encouraged to observe, experiment, and uncover new perspectives throughout their stay.
Loews Little Legends: Discovery Days
Designed with flexibility in mind, the program will also be seamlessly integrated across the Loews portfolio with on-property Discovery Day activations.
Examples at Loews Miami Beach include:
- Zoo Miami at the Beach: Kids can join Zoo Miami experts for guided beach walks and hands-on marine biofacts experiences inspired by the coastal ecosystem.
- Guided Photography Class: In partnership with FocalPoint Experience, kids ages 4–12 learn how to compose and capture the perfect shot with a Polaroid camera. Kids will leave with 10 photos, one magnetic pocket photo, a certificate of completion and a $50 print credit toward a family portrait session.
- Science on SoBe: Loews Little Legends can enjoy Frost Science Museum curated activities exclusively for the resort’s SoBe Kids Club, where kids will learn about ocean engineering, Florida biodiversity and create their own corals.
Offerings at Loews Coral Gables Hotel include:
- Planet Cookie Lab: Every Sunday during the hotel’s signature brunch at Americana Kitchen, young explorers can join Executive Pastry Chef Shawne Bryan for Planet Cookie Lab, where kids will design an edible solar system with cookies, icing and sweet treats. Participants will learn cookie decorating tips and tricks, along with fun facts about the solar system. The best part? Kids get to take their fresh baked galaxy home to enjoy later.
Loews Coral Gables
Offerings at Loews Atlanta Hotel include:
- Ashland Cookie Decorating: At the hotel’s new signature restaurant Ashland, young explorers can roll up their sleeves for an interactive STEAM Cookie Decorating experience, combining hands-on creativity, playful learning and delicious treats to take home. Available the second and last Saturday of the month during brunch.

Explorer Kits and Discovery Days are available at Loews Miami Beach, Loews Coral Gables and Loews Atlanta through Labor Day.
