Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, a great Caribbean premier luxury destination, has named Sean Robertson as its new General Manager. With more than 25 years of global hospitality experience, Robertson will lead Aurora Anguilla as it builds on its existing legacy of luxury in the Caribbean.
Robertson’s career is defined by leadership in high-volume, ultra-luxury environments, including international hotel groups and prestigious cruise liners, with a deep specialization in Food & Beverage operations. He joins Aurora Anguilla from the Crowne Plaza Nadi Bay Resort in Fiji, where he was instrumental in the property’s successful launch. His strategic vision earned him a coveted spot in IHG’s “Journey to GM 2025” program, which shapes the next generation of global hospitality leaders.
Robertson’s background also includes senior management roles in Australia with IHG’s Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove, where he supported the iconic Hayman Island resort, and with Mulpha International. In these roles, he drove multimillion-dollar revenue growth and elevated culinary experiences through service excellence.
“Luxury is not only about world-class amenities, but about the moments that stay with our guests long after they leave,” Robertson said. “At Aurora Anguilla, we have an incredible opportunity to blend authentic Caribbean warmth with refined, modern hospitality. My goal is to empower our team to shine, ensuring that every interaction creates genuine Anguillan memories that reflect the spirit of this remarkable island.”
Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club is set on pristine Rendezvous Bay. It spans more than 300 acres and features 178 suites alongside world-class amenities including six restaurants, two bars and lounges, a 22,000-square-foot spa, and Aurora International Golf Course – an 18-hole course by Greg Norman Golf Course Design – and Avalon Links, a 9-hole short course also from Norman.
