The family behind West Palm Beach’s iconic Okeechobee Steakhouse on May 14 will open Lewis Prime Grill in the former Stonewood Grill space at the Pointe at Wellington Green in Wellington, FL.
Marking the Lewis family’s first restaurant in Wellington, the highly-anticipated restaurant is designed for today’s modern diner, pairing imaginative cuisine with a relaxed, upscale-casual atmosphere.
Departing from the traditional steakhouse aesthetic that defines Okeechobee Steakhouse and Jupiter’s Lewis Steakhouse, Lewis Prime Grill has been completely reimagined from the walls in. Vibrant colors, eclectic décor, and whimsical artwork create a lively backdrop for a fresh, distinctive culinary experience.

“Wellington residents – including many of my own friends and family- have been asking for a Lewis concept for decades,” said third-generation restaurateur Ralph Lewis. “Our roots in and support of the Wellington community run deep. When this location became available, we knew the timing was finally right.”
The 146-seat restaurant features a mix of high-back booths, table seating, and a bar with 31 seats plus 8 seats in the lounge. “The Parlor,” the restaurant’s private dining room, accommodates up to 26 guests seated for intimate events and celebrations.
The menu showcases a wide range of shareable starters, such as shatteringly crispy Point Judith Calamari, Bison Sliders, Shrimp Corn Dogs, and the soon-to-be signature Almost Famous Chicken Tenders. Salads include a Classic Caesar and Asian Thai Chicken Salad, while entrées feature dishes like a Chimichurri Filet Mignon Skewer, Macadamia-Crusted Snapper, Zoodles with Shrimp, and the timeless classic: Beef Wellington.
Guests will also find a selection of the steaks for which the Lewis family is consistently recognized, complemented by “Surf Your Turf” additions and enhancements including Au Poivre and Béarnaise. A robust beverage program anchors the experience, offering a full bar and an exceptional wine collection.
