Following The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami’s grand reopening after a $100 million transformation this pat December, the resort unveils Luma, a modern Italian restaurant perched above the Atlantic Ocean coastline. Aptly named after the Italian word for “light,” Luma offers a radiant dining experience whereItalian culinary tradition meets the natural beauty of the sea. Marking a new chapter in the resort’s culinary landscape, the 310-seat restaurant blends sun-lit interiors, sweeping ocean views, and cuisine inspired by Italy’s coastal regions.
Under the direction of newly appointed Executive Chef Patrizio La Gioia, the restaurant debuts with an opening menu highlighting handmade pastas, elevated Italian favorites, and a signature Josper oven program featuring fish, seafood, premium cuts of meat, and seasonal vegetables finished over natural binchotan and oak coals. Over the coming months, Chef La Gioia will continue to evolve Luma’s culinary program with the introduction of new dishes that blend authentic Italian regional cuisine with global influences. Additional signature tableside experiences will further highlight the craftsmanship and theatricality at the heart of the fine dining experience.
