Hollywood legends Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell, each an ambassador of ONEflight International, a private aviation company based in Denver, are among the leading celebrities scheduled to play in the Wednesday Pro-Am (May 7) at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club from May 8-11. In addition, North Myrtle Beach’s own Vanna White, who has been a fixture on Wheel of Fortune for more than 40 years, will again take part in the Wednesday Pro-Am.
Costner has won two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards, was the lead character in the 1996 golf movie Tin Cup. Russell, whose acting career spans more than 60 years and 60 films, most recently earned a Critics’ Choice Award (2024) for his work in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Joining Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell on site to help promote the professional golf tournament and ONEflight International will be David Arquette, Michael Chiklis, Wallis Day, Carmine Giovinazzo and Oliver Hudson. Also, Candice King, Bert Kreischer, Esai Morales, Haley Joel Osment and Rob Riggle.
The celebrities will be joined by two of the 132 professional golfers for nine holes apiece and a team of amateur partners.
Tickets for the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic are available for purchase at www.oneflightmyrtlebeachclassic.com. Children ages 15 and under will receive complimentary admission when accompanied by a paying adult. Active and retired military personnel, as well as first responders, are welcome to two free tickets to Wednesday’s practice round, and additional tickets (2 per day) for Thursday through Sunday at a 25 percent discount.
Last year’s event, won by Chris Gotterup, drew more than 40,000 fans, delivered some memorable golf moments and offered additional entertainment with two free concerts. It also received rave reviews from the professional golfers.
The concert series announced for this year has the soulful Chairmen of the Board on Thursday and country music star Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, on Saturday. Each show is free to that day’s ticket holders and will start shortly after play is completed for the day.
