A trio of Tripp Davis and Associates designs/renovations will be showcased in competition this year as host venues of a USGA Championship.
The U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball is being held at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club in Nichols Hills, on May 10-14. TDA completed its renovation and restoration work there in 2020.

The U.S. Senior Amateur will be contested at San Antonio’s Oak Hills Country Club Aug. 23-28. The course renovation and restoration was finished the spring of 2018.
“I am so honored to have worked with all three of these clubs to renovate, restore in the case of Oak Hills and Oklahoma City, and redesign in the case of Riverside at Atlanta Athletic Club,’’ Tripp Davis said. “ Oak Hills originally was designed by A.W. Tillinghast and Oklahoma City was originally designed by Perry Maxwell and Alister MacKenzie. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. was Riverside’s architect. I could not be more proud and excited for these clubs to be hosting USGA Championships this year.”
TDA was founded in 1994 and has its headquarters in Edmond, Oklahoma. Davis, a decorated amateur golfer, was a member of the 1989 National Championship Golf Team and a NCAA All-American selection while at the University of Oklahoma. He continues to play in several prestigious amateur events each year.
