The Cape Club of Palm City (formerly The Fox Club Florida), has named John Carbeau as its new Director of Golf Operations. Carbeau will be responsible for further developing the private club’s golf programming and enhancing the golf experience.
Carbeau makes the move to Florida after a 16-season tenure at The Cape Club of Sharon in Sharon, MA, The Cape Club of Palm City’s sister course. During his tenure at The Cape Club of Sharon, Carbeau played a pivotal role in coordinating and running all golf events, culminating in the club hosting one of the top three-day member guest invitationals in all of New England. He will look to mirror the tournament and event success he achieved in Sharon at The Cape Club of Palm City.
Loctaed 30 minutes north of West Palm Beach, The Cape Club of Palm City underwent a significant renovation project during the summer of 2022, transforming it into a fully private 18-hole country club. The club opened its doors to members and guests this past November
“The first time I came here this past winter, I was blown away,” said Carbeau. “The golf course is on a unique piece of land and is very pleasing to the eye. Every hole is on its own, and I really enjoyed the private, secluded feel I had while playing as the round progressed. The ‘bones’ of the property are exceptional, and the potential is limitless.”
Capital improvements made by The Cape Club Collection represent a multi seven-figure investment on the golf course and clubhouse. Members of the rebranded and relaunched private club also have access to The Cape Club Collection sister courses, The Cape Club of Sharon and The Cape Club of Falmouth, each located in Massachusetts.
