Charlie Mechem, one of golf’s true “nice guys,’’  has released  the audiobook version of his popular book, Arnie and Jack: Stories of My Long Friendship with Two Remarkable Men.

In the Arnie and Jack audiobook, listeners will get front-rows seat to many of golf’s cherished moments in locales rich in history, as narrated by 92-year-old Mechem with a combination of wit, humor, and emotion. Through his stories, Mechem, former Commissioner of the LPGA, takes you on the course at pro-golf’s famous Bay Hill, Camargo Club, Muirfield Village, Tradition, and Augusta National, as well as off the course at the Arnold Palmer’s Restaurant, the Captains Club, even the White House and Congress.

Mechem’s remarkable legal and business career spanned six decades and included his role as a longtime advisor to  Palmer and Nicklaus.

“I was honored and privileged to know Arnie and Jack for many years as good friends and to be blessed by those relationships,” said Mechem. “My life has been greatly enriched by my friendship with these two men.

I can say with complete conviction that there isn’t a person, past or present, who knows more about Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, and the stories that took place between the two of us – and individually – than Charlie Mechem,” Nicklaus said.

The Arnie and Jack audiobook is now available on all major audiobook platforms.
