Sterling Grove’s 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course, which opened on Feb. 11, 2021, initially operated as a semi-private facility, accommodating daily-fee and unaccompanied non-member play. As the 780-acre community developed and memberships increased, the club now has more than 300 members and more than 1,100 completed residences. The average member age is 50, reflecting a vibrant, active community.

Members enjoy a comprehensive suite of amenities, including an expansive golf practice facility, an 18-hole putting course, three resort-style pools, nine pickleball courts, five tennis courts, and bocce courts. The award-winning clubhouse features the Flora Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness and movement studio, the full-service restaurant Copper + Rye, and The Market, offering grab-and-go food items.

“Transitioning to a fully private club allows us to enhance the member experience by focusing on personalized service and exclusive events,” said Al Larose, general manager of Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club.

“Watching Sterling Grove grow from a vision and mounds of dirt into the thriving club and community it is today has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career,” said Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club membership director Hanna Atkins. “As we celebrate the transition to a fully private club just five years after opening, we’re incredibly grateful for the trust and support of our members and excited to continue building on our vision of the modern country club for generations to come.”

Limited membership opportunities remain available for both residents and non-residents. The club, continues to host a select number of outside tournaments, maintaining its reputation as a premier destination for golf enthusiasts.
