Rick Smith, one of golf’s legendary swing coaches, has signed with GolfForever, a leading at-home golf fitness training system, as the company’s s newest brand ambassador.

Smith – a Hall of Fame teacher, golf course designer, television personality and speaker – was intrigued by the first-of-its-kind training system after its 2022 launch and insisted on testing it so he could form his own opinion. Thirty minutes receiving it, he had designed 20 different ways GolfForever could help him with his teaching concepts and he has utilized it with his students since.

As GolfForever’s newest brand ambassador, Smith joins an elite team of athletes consisting of 2022 Masters champion and PGA Tour Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler, 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson, 1997 Open Championship winner Justin Leonard and four-time PGA Tour winner Ryan Palmer.

“With the structure of the GolfForever Swing Trainer, you can duplicate particularly useful feels that are in the golf swing with your arms, hands and wrists,” Smith said. “I instantly started creating different golf swing concepts that I’ve always had and then I started getting creative with it. The GolfForever platform is wonderful. It takes words away and creates motion and feel. The customized nature of the app is a game-changer to help anyone’s body move the way it needs to in the swing.”

Smith’s first content series is now available to users in the 4.8 App Store-rated GolfForever golf fitness training app.

“Rick Smith is a generational talent in golf instruction who will be considered as one of the finest to ever teach the game. We are proud to leverage his vast expertise and creativity that adds another dimension of content for our users,” said GolfForever Vice President of Communications and Strategic Partnerships, Jon Levy. “Rick immediately saw value and practical applications in our training system that elevated his coaching, and we’re excited for our users to experience this unique style of content using the Swing Trainer that extends beyond fitness training.”

Smith’s notable clients have included major champions Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, Lee Janzen, Vijay Singh, David Duval, Paul Azinger, John Daly and Greg Norman. He currently operates The Rick Smith Golf Performance Center at Trump National Doral Resort in Miami and the Rick Smith Golf Academy at Oakland University in Rochester, Smith uses GolfForever at each location.

“Anything good catches fire, just as GolfForever and the GolfForever Swing Trainer have,” Smith said. “I’m using it for so many reasons. It helps range of motion increase dramatically and even the person that moves too much still needs strengthening and stability. So, it gives you stability and flexibility which is a great combination that can help if you’re going to be consistent with your golf swing.”

Driven by personalized exercise and warmup routines in the 4.8 App Store-rated GolfForever app, the GolfForever Swing Trainer launched in January 2022 and quickly contributed to the brand’s meteoric rise. Highlighted by its asymmetrical resistance training bar that can be anchored easily at home, the gym or the course, the Swing Trainer’s interchangeability to create premium resistance bands with handles and a D3 swing weight-optimized heavy warmup club gives it three unique uses that provide a direct benefit to strength and mobility in your golf swing.
