Callaway Golf has announced a new partnership with foreUP, a leading provider of software and marketing solutions for golf courses.
Callaway Golf, a division of Topgolf Callaway Brands, says the vtwo companies have developed a data-driven program designed to optimize retail shop inventory. With guidance from foreUP’s industry-leading tracking analytics, Callaway says it can “actively track’’ product quantities in any store and provide recommendations on current inventory levels.
The process, according to Callaway, is simple and requires no oversight from the shop, as Callaway sales representatives will monitor sales and inventory reporting at each course through data collected from foreUP’s software.
Using this data, Callaway says the reps will connect with courses to provide guidance on how to replenish product when inventory is low, or cancel flow orders when inventory is high. This extensive attention to detail within the retail space, the company says, allows management teams to focus more time on tee sheets and customers – while the Callaway team manages quantity on course.
