Boyne Mountain Resort is a golfer’s paradise, but don’t sleep on it during the Winter season. SkyBridge Michigan at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls is an outstanding winter destination.
Perched between McLouth and Disciples Ridge, SkyBridge Michigan – the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge – transforms into a snowy spectacle during winter. At 118 feet high, the bridge provides a breathtaking vantage point for panoramic views of the Boyne Valley and Northern Michigan hills adorned in vibrant winter hues.
Pair this winter wonder with Boyne Mountain Resort’s 75th-anniversary celebration from January 10 to 14. The highlight is the 75-Hour Challenge, a skiing endurance event benefiting Challenge Mountain, where individuals living with disabilities enjoy adaptive recreational opportunities like skiing, biking, and horseback riding. Participants can register as a team or individually, with prizes for the most money raised and most laps completed.
To add an extra layer of excitement, participants can collect pledges for each lap completed during the 75 hours. Each participant will receive a swag bag with a commemorative hat and pin, along with a chance to win a pair of custom Shaggy’s skis. Following the challenge, the resort will host an Award Ceremony on Jan. 13 at 5 pm, featuring live music, a cash bar, and prizes. The festivities will conclude with a first-ever Drone Show at 9:30 pm and a Vintage Sky Sweater Party at Snowflake Lounge.
