The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, S.C., is launching the Love-Dye Golf Package, offering golfers the chance to play two iconic courses designed by legendary architects Davis Love III and Pete Dye.
This new package features one round apiece on Atlantic Dunes by Love III and Heron Point by Dye, with each course offering its own blend of history, artistry, and seaside beauty. For any level of golfer, these two courses provide an unforgettable experience showcasing the rich Lowcountry landscape.
Atlantic Dunes features wide, scenic corridors, strategic bunkering, and a stunning ocean backdrop accented with native flora and natural dunes. Love, a five-time winner of the RBC Heritage and 21-time winner on the PGA Tour, rebuilt every hole to enhance shot values while preserving the course’s coastal charm.
A round at Heron Point provides a test of golf strategy. Originally opened in 1963 as the Sea Marsh Course, Heron Point features Dye’s signature architectural elements – mounded fairways, small greens, and water hazards guarded by striking bulkheads – to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Designed with versatility in mind, the course includes seven sets of tees, including options suitable for juniors and recreational players.
Caddies are available upon request at an additional fee for those seeking a more personalized playing experience.
Located on the southernmost tip of Hilton Head Island, Sea Pines Resort features five miles of unspoiled beaches, 20 clay tennis courts, 14 miles of bike and walking trails, horseback riding, Eco-Adventures, water sports, and the 605-acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve filled with wildflowers, wetlands, and more than 130 species of birds.
As the first eco-planned destination in the U.S., The Sea Pines Resort has become the blueprint for numerous beach developments around the country.
