 The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio proudly has reopened its fully renovated and redesigned restaurant and bar, Zocca Cuisine D’Italia, led by newly-appointed Executive Chef Ron Mays.

“The opportunity to breathe new life into an iconic establishment such as Zocca is an absolute honor,” Mays said. “I am excited to share a palatable, yet approachable menu made for everyday dining with an elevated experience attached.”

Mays’ resume touts more than 20 years spent in kitchens throughout the US and beyond, providing a wealth of knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm to oversee the entire culinary operation of the hotel that includes Zocca Cuisine D’Italia, Cafecito Café, the seasonal Pool Bar, In-Room Dining and a robust banquet and catering program.

 Zocca’s impressive new bar provides an immersive indoor-outdoor integration between the interior and the patio along the San Antonio River Walk. With easy-to-see TVs and a relaxed, comfortable feel, the bar also features a walk-up component for guests of the River Walk, as well as bar seating that allows viewing directly into the restaurant.
