Plunge Beach Resort, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea’s stylish retreat and off-the-radar getaway located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, will host its Plunge into the Arts open house reception partnered with Artists with Autism in support of Autism Awareness Month. The event is intended to raise awareness and understanding of autism, as well as highlight the unique and diverse perspectives of individuals on the autism spectrum.
Autism Awareness Month is recognized in the month of April, and the Plunge into theArts program is an initiative that aims to help local artists flourish, as well as encourage thecommunity to engage in and learn about Greater Fort Lauderdale’s art scene.
On April 12, eight talented artists on the autism spectrum will come together to showcase their artworks through a wide range of creative mediums on display. The eight participating artists, in alphabetical order, are Sean Brushingham, Brandon Drucker, Jordan Forges, DanielLeon, Keith Rebarber, Margie-Lee Rodriguez, J. Michael Vidal, and Gianlucca Zeppilli.
Each artist has a unique style and vision, and their artworks reflect their individual experiences and perspectives, providing a glimpse into their world and opening new avenues of understanding and appreciation for the Autistic Community.
Free to the public, The event is set for 6pm to 7:30 pm in the Plunge Beach Resort lobby. Parking is $5 cash per vehicle.
