Nearly 100 golfers and altruistic supporters recently played golf to celebrate philanthropic sportsmanship at the American Humane’s 3rd Annual PupsFOREPatriots Golf Invitational at the Palm Beach (FL.) Par 3 – one of the country’s top “short’’ courses.

The sold-out tournament included breakfast, lunch, and an awards luncheon. All proceeds from the event will benefit American Humane’s Pups4Patriots program, which pairs highly trained service dogs with veterans in need.

Notable guests included American Humane’s president and CEO Dr.  Robin Ganzert and  Pups4Patriots Inspirational Chair Lois Pope.

American Humane is the country’s first national humane organization and the world’s largest certifier of animal welfare, overseeing the humane treatment of more than one billion animals across the globe each year. Founded in 1877, with offices in Palm Beach and Washington, DC, American Humane has been “First to Serve’’ the cause of animals and for 145 years has been at the forefront of virtually every major advance in the humane movement.
