PGA WEST is synonymous with golf in Southern California’s Coachella Valley. For those looking to play golf prior to the high season in the winter months, there’s no better place, meaning players can still take advantage of PGA WEST’s terrific Golf Academy.
While some of the courses at PGA WEST – located in La Quinta – undergo reseeding, players can brush up on their skills with a set of Top 100 instructors at the Golf Mastery Experience, Nov. 17-18. Framed by the Santa Rosa Mountains, the property has a total of nine golf courses, including the famed Stadium Course, designed by Pete Dye.

At PGA WEST – recognized for three decades as the “Western Home of Golf in America,” – guests and members can play at the Golf Academy while the resort undergoes reseeding to its courses, including its three recently restored Dye courses.
The goal at The PGA WEST Golf Academy is to offer the finest golf instruction in the world. With the resources at PGA WEST, that goal is a reality. Golf instruction has blossomed into several components including: mental and physical well being, custom club fitting, state of the art video analysis, sophisticated launch monitor systems, and on course instruction.
Each of these components is taken into consideration to give the ultimate instructional experience, so that each student leaves with a clear picture towards the path of improvement.
The Experience will be led by award-winning instructors Bryan Lebedevitch, PGA and Brady Riggs, PGA, two GOLF Top 100 teachers. Special guest tour coaches will include Kiran Mistry, Preston Combs and Derek Deminsky. Cost is $2,950 per person, which includes two full days of instruction and meals. Player can register here.
