Meanwhile, a few miles north in Jupiter’s Abacoa neighborhood, Tavern Pi is going back to its roots with a nod to Costello’s (the original eatery at the location) and a full menu revamp.

Featuring classics and the addition of sizzling new sandwiches, Chef David Schroeder returns to the helm in the kitchen to bring Tavern Pi back to its glory. Look for options, including gluten-free pizza and six new sandwiches on brioche rolls with crinkle-cut fries for $12-15. All sandwiches are half-priced on “‘Wich Wednesdays.’’

“Everything costs more these days, but we remain committed to giving our customers great value, which is why we have actually lowered our menu prices,” said Schroeder, who’s even brought back Costello’s original dough recipe. “Everyone is struggling, and we want to help our neighbors enjoy a meal out without breaking the bank,”

Schroeder’s personal fave on the menu? The new Pizza Burger, featuring a giant smashed meatball and pepperoni. Other sandwiches include the Italian Chicken with marinara, the Caprese with breaded eggplant and fresh mozzarella, and the Sausage and Peppas with provolone. Don’t sleep on the Chicken Cordon Bleu with prosciutto and Swiss, or the Italian Job with ground pork, broccoli rabe, provolone, and basil vinaigrette.

Tavern Pi also offers create-your-own homemade pasta dishes and pizzas that include specialty pies, as well as create your own options in six different styles. Wings, apps, calzones, loaded garlic knots, and gourmet pizza by the slice and pie also are on the menu.

Open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., including takeout, Tavern Pi is an ideal place to fuel up before and wind down after Spring Training games at nearby Roger Dean Stadium, as well as concerts and other summer events.
