KemperSports has signed a partnership with Swansea Country Club to manage its semi-private and historic 18-hole golf course and nine-hole par-3 course in Swansea, MA. Located just outside of Providence, RI, Swansea Country Club is a scenic retreat of natural beauty with tree-lined fairways as it meanders alongside the Palmer River.
“We are very excited to partner with KemperSports to lead operations at Swansea Country Club,” said Larry Doyle, president of Swansea Country Club. “Their experience in operating semi-private properties in the Northeast will lead to a bright future at the club.”
Located on a former private hunting and fishing preserve, the Club was built in 1963 by golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish. Since that time, the club has gone through extensive renovations and additions, including the opening of a par-3 course in 2001, bocce courts in 2017, and a pool complex in 2019 that includes lap pool, kids pool, and kids splash pad.
With two golf courses, bocce courts, public pool, and multiple dining options, Swansea CC is widely considered one of the more popular golf facilities in the region with its wide array of recreational options all suited to be enjoyed by families and kids.
“Swansea County Club is a popular semi-private golf facility with a rich history,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to working ownership to enhance the customer experience and remain a top destination for local golfers.”
KemperSports continues its strong start to 2025 with several new partnerships announced, including a portfolio of four Morris County golf courses, Porto Cima Golf Club, Brickshire Golf Club, and Palmilla Beach Golf – each from the start of the year.
