The Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach today began its five-year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony edication with the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce. The 200-room beachfront resort also showed off its multimillion renovation with a focus on the pool deck, refreshed guestrooms and youth club, and revamped memorabilia throughout the property.
Each of the guestrooms have new wall art featuring current and classic rockstars, fresh paint, and plush carpeting throughout the rooms and resort common areas. Memorabilia includes Elvis Presley’s fringed vest from his 1955 performance at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, and hip-hop pioneer MC Hammer’s sequined outfit during his Club MTV Spring Break performances in 1990 and 1994.
The resort originally opened in Spring 2018 and has been a catalyst in the revitalization of neighborhoods and business on the north end of Daytona Beach. The resort is the only beachfront Hard Rock property in Florida.
“We been successful because we have been able to tap into a market of travelers who come to Daytona Beach a couple of times a year. We’ve been able to shift some of those travelers to our brand,’’ said Androse Bell, Regional Director of Operations for HVMG, a hospitality management firm that based oversees itsSsoutheastern portfolio of lifestyle properties.
Bell also acting general manager of the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach.
“We know there are Hard Rock loyalists. But we’ve been excited to get feedback from families who come to Daytona Beach twice a year. That’s been very rewarding.’’
