In collaboration with DLR Group, a design firm specializing in hospitality interiors, and architectural firm designONE studios, this initiative brings a range of thoughtfully curated upgrades, including improved accommodations and reimagined dining, social, and relaxation spaces.

Embracing a forward-looking approach, the renovation underscores the hotel’s commitment to innovation while honoring its esteemed heritage. For over two decades, Grand Hyatt Atlanta has been a cornerstone of Atlanta’s upscale hospitality landscape, renowned for its tranquil Japanese Zen Garden and cascading 30-foot waterfall, the property is a sanctuary of sophistication in the heart of a thriving metropolitan hub.

“This most recent transformation signals an exciting evolution for Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead,” said Kristi Cotten-Morris, general manager of Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. “As we unveil this new chapter, we are committed to creating spaces that inspire and connect – places where our guests can seamlessly balance productivity, relaxation, and discovery. With an eye toward the future, this renovation reflects not only the vibrancy of Buckhead but also our vision for contemporary luxury.”

The final phase of renovations includes a redesigned arrival experience that enhances accessibility and creates a more seamless arrival experience for guests. The lobby, which will feature all new marble floors and artwork, has relocated the front desk to a more central location closer to the front door, allowing for a more visually appealing aesthetic made complete with the lobby bar, serving as the backdrop made complete with the three story waterfall.

Additional lobby highlights include a 24-hour market offering a diverse selection tailored to every palate, including gourmet foods and quick artisanal sandwiches. Emphasizing a blend of local favorites and premium brands, the market proudly showcases products from Black-owned businesses such as  Boon Boona Coffee and Kyri’s Kookies.

Guests can also get local specialties, such as Montane coffee and Arden drinks, creating a bespoke dining experience for those on the go. Additional lobby experiences include “The Nest”, a conveniently located modern phone booth where guests can step away for an important phone call, quick conference call or good night phone calls to their family.

The Fabled Lounge

Recently opened, “The Fabled,” a sophisticated new lounge designed by DLR Group and designONE studio, promises to be a creative haven inspired by storytelling. Crafted cocktails such as ‘The Alchemist’s Elixir,’ a tequila and ginger liquor concoction, and ‘The Fabled Rising,’ a flavorful mezcal and blood orange ginger beer partnership, evoke mythical and epic literary themes. Zero proof specialty cocktails will also be featured.

The Fabled is the perfect destination for after-dinner drinks, business lunches, or happy hour, offering an atmosphere that enriches the mood and enhances the narrative experience sought by guests.

With a menu curated by Chef Bradley Jones, the lounge also offers small plates, enhancing its appeal as a relaxing setting for evening gatherings.

Cassis Restaurant

The hotel’s lower level is home to the reimagined Cassis, a restaurant that serves daily breakfast and offers exclusive private dining experiences. Its design draws inspiration from the Mediterranean port of Cassis, celebrated for its rosé and white wines, as well as the iconic crème de cassis – a rich, dark red French liqueur crafted from blackcurrants. The space encourages a journey of discovery for all guests, blending classic materials with modern fashion-inspired sophistication. Featuring marble, rich woods, contemporary furniture, and artwork inspired by the coastal landscape of Cassis, including grand murals infused with fruit botanicals.

The restaurant features stunning views of a two-story Japanese garden, visible from the main dining area and adjacent private dining spaces, with the option for guests to step outside and fully immerse themselves in its beauty.

Le Petit Chef

Guests will embark on a delightful journey guided by a 2.3-inch-tall animated chef while enjoying a preselected five-course menu featuring local flavors such as Saffron Seafood Cioppino with Georgia Coast Grouper and Savannah Shrimp, culminating with a decadent Georgia Peach Crème Brûlée.
