Chef de Cuisine Joel Rodriguez has returned to Galley, the award-winning signature grill house and bar located inside Hilton West Palm Beach.

Chef Rodriguez, originally from Puerto Rico, debuted his culinary skills in the U.S. in 2017 at Galley, as the restaurant underwent a significant redesign. He was instrumental in creating some of the more popular dishes on Galley’s menu..

A hospitality industry veteran, Rodriguez left Galley to pursue leadership positions with PGA National Resort and the Curio Collection by Hilton, before returning to Galley this past September.

“This is where it all started for me,” said Rodriguez. “Hotel leadership, my colleagues in the restaurant, and our guests are truly second to none. I honestly couldn’t wait to come back to Galley…it’s my happy place.”

Galley is in the process of introducing a number of Rodriguez-inspired’ entrées, sides, and desserts. Additionally, Chef Rodriguez will work with Executive Chef, Rodrigo Mezadri to oversee the restaurant’s popular Wine Dinner Series (September through May), which features a 5-course pairing event with cooking demonstrations, outdoor dining and live music.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, the newly reimagined AAA 4-Diamond Hilton West Palm Beach features an array of amenities, including four enhanced dining destinations, an oversized pool deck lined with cushioned cabanas and palm trees, refreshed guestrooms and suites, a curated art program that embodies the artistic energy of South Florida.

The 400-room lifestyle hotel is connected to the Palm Beach County Convention Center, located just two miles from Palm Beach.

Guests looking to host events have a variety of options, including more than 35,000-square-feet of total event space, 9 meeting rooms, outdoor event lawns and a large ballroom, measuring 13,366-square-feet.
