Continuing to set culinary standards in Palm Beach County, Blackbird Modern Asian, is ranked No. 1 in Yelp’s highly-anticipated 2024 “Top Places to Eat in Palm Beach County.’’
The popular Pan-Asian restaurant’s sister restaurant in the 3 Amigos portfolio – PapiChulo Tacos – ranks No. 16.
“I have been a Yelp fan since it was founded in 2004,” said 3 Amigos Co-Founder Scott Frielich. “On behalf of the co-owners and our restaurant teams, I am immensely proud to thank the entire Yelp community for fostering a review process that is comprehensive, objective, and fair.”
According to Yelp, this year’s “Top Places to Eat in Palm Beach County” was determined by identifying and ranking businesses using several factors. They include total volume and review ratings by Yelp Elite Squad members between August 2023 and 2024, marked “open” on Yelp as of Oct. 4, 2024, and having a passing health score.
Designed by Kat Solomon of Kat Solomon Interiors, Blackbird Modern Asian is a two-story, 5,500-square-foot eaterie, with 150 seats and banquets, three dining venues, and two cocktail bars, including an alfresco setting on the second floor featuring expansive, southeasterly vistas of the Jupiter Lighthouse.
Coupled with executive chef and partner Tim Nickey’s innovative interpretation of Pan-Asian fare, the menu is anchored by dim sum favorites and Chinatown-style staples remastered with bold and luscious flavors.
Frielich, of Subculture Group, Angelo Abbenante of Lynora’s, Cleve Mash of Clematis Social, and executive chef Tim Nickey opened Blackbird in October 2022. The Far East-inspired venue is the third property opened by the four-man hospitality group, which includes two PapiChulo Tacos locations in Jupiter and Royal Palm Beach.
