Blackbird Modern Asian in Jupiter continues to shine as one of the best new restaurants in South Florida.

For exampele, this past June, Blackbird Modern Asian debuted The Palm Beaches’ first never-ending Monday happy hour. Now, it is launching a three-course prix fixe menu.

Beginning Aug. 1, the prix fixe menu will feature a choice of executive chef/partner Tim Nickey’s Pan-Asian-inspired delicacies for $39 per person (excludes tax and gratuity).

Amongst the small plate and dim sum starters are short rib and bone marrow dumplings, spicy kung pao calamari, and salmon or Hamachi crispy rice.

Entrée selections include sweet and sour pork with pork belly, dragon fruit, pineapple, and crispy shallots; dan dan noodles with minced pork and beef, pickled mustard greens, radish, Sichuan peppercorn, and chili oil; and vegetarian chow fun with wide Cantonese rice noodles, shiitake, garlic chive, mushroom soy sauce, and truffle.

For dessert, guests can pick from Executive Pastry Chef Denise Elrod’s toasted coconut sundae with coconut gelato, toasted coconut, caramelized peanuts, sesame tuile, miso caramel, and palm sugar whipped cream or a chocolate mochi banana split with chocolate cake, chocolate mochi, caramelized bananas, strawberries, peanut brittle, and warm dark chocolate sauce.

Designed by Kat Solomon of Kat Solomon Interiors, the two-story, 5,500-square-foot restaurant hosts 150 seats and banquets, three dining venues, and two vibe-led cocktail bars, including an alfresco setting on the second floor featuring expansive, southeasterly vistas of the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Coupled with executive chef and partner Tim Nickey’s innovative interpretation of Pan-Asian fare, the menu is anchored by dim sum favorites and Chinatown-style staples remastered with bold and luscious flavors.
