Sea Trail Golf Resort in Sunset Beach, NC., has unveiled its renovated convention center. Sea Trail Investments, LLC, which is co-owned by Robert Hill and Donald Bean, who are co-owners of Riptide Builders, Parker Smith, owner of Golf Trek, and entrepreneur Sandesh Sharda, closed on the purchase of the convention c.enter in March 2023. The convention center is approximately 40,000 square feet boasting a 1,580 event seating capacity.
The revitalization of the convention center includes significant interior design updates along with updates to lighting, floors, signage, landscaping and the roof. Additionally, the convention center now features two dining venues, 55 Bistro Bar and Sunset Slice, providing a full range of entertainment options including multiple televisions with Direct TV, TouchTunes, Golden Tee, a pool table and BullShooter Dart Boards.
The adjacent 15-acre tract of land, which will feature several key resort components, will be anchored by Sea Trail Golf Resort’s future hotel site.
The resort also has three golf courses that are undergoing a multi-million-dollar investment in clubhouse and course improvements by new ownership.
