Summer will sizzle with some great culinary events in Palm Beach County, FL. Here’s a look at three of my favorites:

Blackbird Modern Asian (Jupiter)

Dan Dan Noodles (Essential Group)

The best new restaurant in Palm Beach County on June 5 kicks off a new summer Happy Hour that will shocase half-off craft cocktails, sake, wine, and beer from 4 p.m. until close, or 11 p.m.

The drink menu features a mash-up of old guard cocktails and bespoke tipples blended with tropical flavors and Asian-style ingredients such as lemongrass, Thai basil, boba, and pho syrup, “Cobra Kai” and newer adds,
including “Confucius Say,” a sweet thirst quencher mixed with Chopin vodka, Soho lychee, Liquid Alchemist coconut syrup, pineapple juice, and lime and “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” a spicy brew made from Ghost tequila, St. George spiced pear, pear elixir, and fresh citrus (all $8, regularly $16)

.
Savings also stretch to a broad selection of small and large plates, with some priced under $10. Amongst the selections are vegetable spring roll with orange-blackdragon sauce ($5, regularly $6); brisket bao bun with green apple, pickled Fresno chilies, Chinatown hoisin sauce ($5, regularly $6); Dan Dan noodles with minced
pork and beef, pickled mustard greens, radish, Sichuan peppercorn, and chili oil($16, regularly $18) and Bangkok Street noodles “Pad See Ew” with smoked brisket, rice noodles, chili, and crunchy garlic ($19, regularly $24).

Perhaps the best part is that guests may enjoy their happy hour anywhere in therestaurant, including the upstairs and downstairs bars, the outdoor patio, or at their table.

Highlights from the menu include:

Okeechobee Prime’s Texas-style BBQ – Smoked Prime Brisket, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Pulled Pork, Boss Hog Sliders, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Legendary Texas Twinkies, and signature sides.

Garrison Brothers Distillery – Texas Straight Small Batch Bourbon, Bourbon-Infused Dr. Pepper Slushies, Okeechobee Single Barrel Bourbon, Balmorhea Twice-Barreled Bourbon, Guadalupe Port-Finished Straight Bourbon, and a bonus pour of Lady Bird Texas Honey-Infused Cognac-Finished Bourbon.
