Paul Varma has been named Complex Director of Sales for Flamingo Crossings in Orlando by Yedla Management Company. Varma will oversee sales efforts for four newly opened hotel properties located at Walt Disney World Resort’s Flamingo Crossings Town Center. The hotels are: Residence Inn by Marriott at Flamingo Crossings; Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Flamingo Crossings; Home2 by Hilton Flamingo Crossings;and Homewood Suites by Hilton Flamingo Crossings.
“Paul’s years of industry experience will serve him well as he oversees our sales team at Flamingo Crossings,” said Michael MacCallum, regional director for Yedla Management Company. “I’m confident he will foster new business relationships and provide the leadership to ensure the success of each hotel property.”
Varma joins Yedla with more than 20 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, most recently holding the position of Dual Director of Sales and Catering at Brownwood Hotel & Spa, a four-diamond boutique hotel, and the Waterfront Inn at The Villages, FL. In previous positions, Varma received the Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year Award (2015 and 2021) at Quality Suites Royale Parc Suites and Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Lake Buena Vista, each Disney Good Neighbor Hotels.
The Residence Inn by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton each opened within the past 14 months and are part of a four-resort complex located at Disney’s new shopping, dining and entertainment district, Flamingo Crossings Town Center.
