birthday party is widely known as her most recognizable shot.

Fesel: Queens, NY native Fesel’s art blends contemporary and pop culture, using negative spaces to
evoke emotions and take viewers on an abstract journey. Each piece is born from case studies and the
artist’s vivid imagination, paying tribute to unifying inspirations and life’s experiences. Influenced by
cinema, Fesel paints to classic films, creating a cinematic canvas. Martin Scorses is a collector.
Heide Hatry: New York City and Berlin-based, German neo-conceptual artist, curator and editor. Her
works often feature body-related or animal flesh and organs or other discarded, disdained, or “taboo”
materials.

Mr. IDIAZ (Mario Diaz): Hailing from the Dominican Republic, IDIAZ relocated to New York City in the
early 90s, and was inspired by the vivid graffiti of the subway cars and the dazzling lights of Times
Square. He has cultivated a unique artistic style, using a combination of mixed acrylics, stencils, spray
paints, and resin, to transform ordinary objects into captivating works of art. Exhibited in galleries across
Miami, Vegas, Chicago, and New York City, IDIAZ’s creations stand as a testament to his ability to infuse
life and vibrancy into the seemingly mundane.

Mark Anthony Love (Mark the Artisan): Visual artist who specializes in creating functional and
expressionistic pieces that evoke emotion and create a sense of connection, always through the topic of
love.

Donna Mehalko: Canadian-born, NY-based illustrator, artist and painter. Mehalko has worked for many
fashion and beauty clients such as Henri Bendel, Revlon, and L’Oreal, with her work featured weekly in
the NY Times. She has also illustrated books for William Morrow, Viking- Penguin, and covers for Farrar
Strauss Giroux.

Austin, Texas, and lives and works in New York City. Sandberg is known for his painting and drawing; as
well as his post-punk band Aliens. Sandberg also founded and runs a skateboard and printed goods
company called Severed Leg Productions.

Sadie Schwarz: A dynamic photographer raised in New York City’s rich cultural milieu. Between time in
Mexico with her father and her mother’s fashion business travels, her early exposure to diverse cultures
fueled her passion for exploration. She found her true calling in Colorado, drawn by its outdoor wonders
and the allure of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Armed with a vintage camera from Craigslist, Sadie has
evolved into a sought-after visual storyteller, capturing the energy of DJ sets, urban landscapes, and
scenic vistas with a unique blend of sophistication and untamed beauty.

Copie (Copie Rodriguez): Also an original artist of the gallery since the 1980’s, Copie was inspired by
Spanish painters as a young boy in the 70s. He is a painter and illustrator who has exhibited his works in
galleries and museums in the US and Canada, including the Bergen Museum of Art and Science, and the
University of Connecticut.

Denis Woychuk: Visionary behind the KGB Bar and its renowned literary series, draws inspiration from a
childhood immersed in a household of painters. Embarking on a creative journey in his twenties,
Woychuk initially wielded the brush before expanding his repertoire to include memoirs, children’s
books, and even serving as an attorney for the criminally insane and a judge. Not content to be confined
by any one medium, he has also made his mark as a rock musical playwright. Recently, Woychuk
rediscovered his passion for painting, showcasing a compelling blend of earlier works alongside his latest
creations over the past year.

Established by Denis Woychuk and deeply ingrained in the East Village’s cultural fabric, Kraine Gallery
and KGB Bar have been pivotal in preserving New York City’s vibrant arts scene. Woychuk, inspired by his
formative experiences in the city with his Ukrainian immigrant father, acquired the building in 1993 to
establish the gallery and bar. Originally opening as the Kraine Art Gallery in 1983, the space quickly
gained recognition as a hub for artistic expression, later expanding to include the iconic KGB Bar. The
recent addition, The Red Room, on the third floor of the building, reflects Woychuk’s artistic vision,
intertwining meticulous detail and a penchant for collecting art and objects.

These iconic spaces are built
upon the storied history of 85 East 4th street; the former home of Lucky Luciano’s Palm Casino
Speakeasy, Emma Goldman’s Secret Society of Anarchists headquarters, and the first Women’s Aid
Society headquarters, and many more.
